Be enthralled with the author of “Spirit of a Dream”. Dave Rearick embarked on a solo 30,000 mile circumnavigation of the globe aboard his 40’ boat Bodacious Dream in 2013. Special Guest Speaker Dave Rearick, Captain of 'Bodacious Dream'

Renowned sailor Dave Rearick will be joining us for the day! Dave has an incredible sailing resume, including: 27 Chicago-Mackinac races, 6 Solo Chicago-Mackinac races (setting a new record in 1998), 2 Solo Chicago-Port Huron races (setting a new record in 1999), Newport-Bermuda Race, Trans-Pac Race (California-Hawaii), Winner of the 2013 Atlantic Cup Race, Normandy Channel Race, Class 40 World Championships, to name a few. In 2013, he set off to sail solo around the world, completing his circumnavigation in 2014 with 30,000 miles and 256 days at sea aboard his 40’ sailboat ‘Bodacious Dream’. He then wrote a book about his adventures, “Spirit Of A Dream”. Come hear him recount his incredible journey, along with pictures, video, and a Q&A session. Final race in the winter racing series. Celebrating the END OF WINTER! Bring your most hated, or most holey, or most bizarre winter socks. Each crew member will display their socks from the rigging during the race. Afterwards, we will bid Old Man Winter farewell. Accompanied by David’s famous (infamous) burgers!
